About
About this site
LA Electrical Repairs is a free referral service for people in Los Angeles who need electrical work. We are not an electrical contractor and we do not do the work ourselves.
How electricians are chosen
We only send requests to contractors who hold an active C-10 electrical license with the California Contractors State License Board. We check each license on the CSLB website before working with a contractor, and you should check it again yourself before you sign a contract.
How the guides are written
Our guides explain common electrical problems and costs in plain language. Price ranges come from published cost data, and each cost guide lists its sources. The guides are general information. They are not a substitute for an inspection by a licensed electrician, and they never replace calling 911 in an emergency.
How the service is paid for
Sending a request is free. Electricians who receive requests may pay us a referral fee. That fee does not change the price an electrician quotes you, and you are never obliged to hire anyone.
